The 11th Annual Independence on the Coast Celebration is a free, family oriented event that offers fun for everyone. The setting for the event is ideal, Frank Pate Park on beautiful St. Joseph's Bay. After dark, the fireworks can be seen from either of our Waterfront Parks Frank Pate and Jetty Park by the PSJ Marina, or almost anywhere along the bay .
SaltairJoin the Gulf Alliance for Local Arts for a Summer Celebration of the Arts! The public is invited to a "Meet the Artist" opening reception at The Port Inn from 5:30-6:30 p.m., followed by "Music on the Porch" at The Thirsty Goat beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Scallop season is back in St. Joseph Bay beginning Wednesday, July 1 in beautiful Port St. Joe, Florida. The warm, gentle waters of our protected bay make Gulf County the perfect place to hunt these delicacies. 2009 surveys conducted by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission show an even greater increase in bay scallops than the previous year. Scalloping is fun for all ages and a great way to spend a day on the water with friends and family.
